Born and raised in Toronto, Canada, Mia & Alisa started studying music and performing at an early age. They started the classical training on piano following Royal Conservatory of Music program at age six and a few years later added vocal and guitar lessons. Only a year apart, the sisters always had lots of fun doing things together, so it was no surprise when they started collaborating on songwriting.

In 2015 and 2016, Mia & Alisa were very active building a name for themselves on the Toronto music scene. They played at many venues such as The Opera House, numerous open mics, charity and corporate events. The sisters were invited to be part of the Canadian Music Week 2016, a music festival where promising artists get to showcase their talent. They opened for Scot Helman in July 2016, during Canada Day festival.

Since moving to South Carolina in the summer 2016, this dynamic duo has become a recognized name thanks to their frequent performances at some of the most popular restaurants and bars such are Hard Rock Café, Nacho Hippo, Compass Cove Oceanfront Resort etc.

Mia & Alisa are very excited to join the Abbey Road on the River festival. They have been The Beatles fans for years and enjoy putting their own spin on the band’s songs.
