The psychOdelics

LOUISVILLE, KY

We are the psychOdelics, a local band focusing on the psychedelic genre from bands of the 60’s and 70’s. The psychOdelics consists of longtime friends who have been playing music together off and on in different bands since we were teenagers. The psychOdelics consist of Chris Bartley on lead vocals, Robin Banx on guitar and vocals, Jerry Roubieu playing keyboards and vocals, Al Kirby on bass, and Tony Schnell on drums and vocals.

In our earlier years Jerry played in the band Nuthouse, Chris and Robin were in Windfield, Al played in the classic rock band Mr. Ed, and later Jerry, Tony, and Robin founded R.U.O.K? The psychOdelics play songs of the Beatles, Rolling Stones, David Bowie, The Doors, Donovan, Moody Blues, and the Who, covering their trippy sounding songs along with the ones that make you want to dance.

This is our first appearance at Abbey Road on the River and we are excited to be here! We are looking forward to meeting all the folks who love this music as much as we do.
